 About the Eventpromo

Our culture is good at keeping us separate -- involved in our own lives, overwhelmed by technology and media, with little time or inclination to reach
out. What might it be like if you made time to gather with peers who share similar goals, interests, and work habits? What if you could spend time getting focused on your plan for the year, thinking about the intentions you want to set that could lead to positive change?

InVigorateU is an annual event that not only provides great speakers and continuing education credits, but also offers a chance to take time away from your crazy schedule to focus on what worked last year and what you might want to do different this year.

room 1

Day one is devoted to the element that unites all diverse segments of our industry – Plants! We love them and we seek to do better by them. Join your peers and industry experts for sessions devoted to putting more of the right plants in the hands of the public, and ensuring they thrive long after they are planted.

That evening, join us at Destihl Brewery to relax with dinner, drinks, and trivia!

On day two, we break it down and get in the weeds with tracks specific to your professional needs and interests. Follow one track all day, or feel free to pick and choose the sessions that best suit your needs.

Growers will cover a variety of topics, from what you need to know about cannabis in the industry to HR and labor issues. For the Landscape Architects, we've teamed up with ASLA Illinois to create a track for that will meet your continuing education needs while learning about successful native gardens, sustainable practices, and more.

We are also introducing two new tracks that we're very excited for - Marketing will be presented by industry expert Chris Heiler, and give you the tools you need to tackle website challenges, social media, better marketing content, and more. Sales Force is a track for green industry team members that will address some of their toughest customer challenges and build confidence in their role as plant experts.

On both days, we offer irrigation training, presented by Hunter Industries, to help irrigation contractors satisfy the continuing education requirements required by Section 892 of Illinois Plumbing code.
