Event SponsorshipsIGIA organizes several events throughout the year to provide education, information, and a forum for green industry professionals to organize, network and exchange ideas. Event sponsorship is a highly-visible way for you to show your support for the Illinois green industry and have your name seen by thousands of green-minded professionals at these widely-attended events. Sponsor Benefits Include: • Recognition in Trending Green eblasts InVigorateU is an annual two-day event that not only provides great speakers and continuing education credits, but also offers a chance to take time away from our crazy schedules to focus on what worked last year and what we can do different in the next season. Average attendance for this educational conference is 275. The event is unique because it's attended by growers, suppliers, retailers, landscape professionals, and irrigation contractors at all levels of the industry. The 90 minute Industry Round Table on day one affords a unique opportunity to network with each segment of the business. LEARN MORE The growers tour is a one-day event attended by nursery producers, owners, greenhouse growers, arborists, landscape designers and architects and other green industry professionals. Each year, we select different host locations so that our professionals can experience new techniques and alternatives to the way they are doing things at their own operation. Average attendance for this event is 85. Learn More Each year, the Illinois Green Industry Association hosts an event to honor a leader in the nursery and landscape industry. This event gives us the opportunity to pay tribute to the leadership, service, and sacrifices made by so many of the outstanding members of our organization. It also affords the chance for our members to come together during the winter months for fellowship, good food, and some fundraising to benefit IGIA public policy efforts. We host this on the eve of iLandscape at a venue within 20 minutes of the ILCA host hotel, and the average attendance for this event is 110. LEARN MORE In 2018, IGIA started local industry meetups as a way to reach areas of the state where we don't have the chance to host larger education events. These smaller, more personalized events are typically hosted at an IGIA member garden center or landscape operation and take place during happy hour time. We invite local legislators so they can get to know the matters that affect our industry and how to better represent us. It's a laid-back time for exchanging best practices, offering input on upcoming industry education events, and more. These events have an average attendance of 25. Learn More Traditionally, the IGIA Summer Conference is held at a resort location that affords an opportunity for everyone to get away from their businesses after a hectic spring season. During the event, we host the Annual Membership Meeting, and several group activities and dinners. This event has an average attendance of 50. Learn More
