Your membership investment in the IGIA is not tax deductible as a charitable contribution. It may be deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense. Even though your dues may be tax deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense, 35% of each members' dues are non-tax deductible as a result of the federal lobbying laws.
