Be Part of History by Participating in this Design Charrette Here's an excellent opportunity on July 23 and primarily July 24 for landscape designers and architects to redesign the area adjacent to the Illinois State Fair's famous Happy Hollow entrance, and to carry that design down through the hollow. There's not a more recognized or revered location on the fairgrounds. Gone are the days that the amusement rides beckoned fairgoers to the hollow, but as the State Fair management team works hard to reinvent and revitalize historic Happy Hollow, they've asked us to help make sure the aesthetics are redesigned to convey that same level of dedication and enthusiasm.
