GIPAC is back! Help us make a difference for you!

GIPAC is back!   We are excited to announce that after a 5-year hiatus, the IGIA's Green Industry PAC has been reactivated.  The PAC fund is an important tool for the entire green industry, and it's needed now more than ever, as our industry is increasingly under attack by government regulators, policy makers and lawmakers.  We must be able to support those who support us, so that our industry and the many small businesses throughout Illinois that make up our industry remain viable now and in the future.

Make a Donation to HOPE Program in Memory of Respected IL Grower

Scott Dunlap, who founded Dunlap Enterprises in Blue Mound, IL in 1980 after working at Wandell’s in Champaign and at greenhouses and nurseries in Pennsylvania and Canada, passed away on Monday, July 3rd.  A memorial visitation to celebrate Scott’s life will be held between 2:00-4:00 P.M. Saturday, 7/8. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested that donations be made to the Illinois Green Industry Association’s (IGIA) HOPE program. HOPE is an IGIA program which helps educate and inspire students to pursue careers in horticulture, something that was near and dear to Scott.
